TO BRING ON A WALLOWA LLAMA PACK TRIP:

(Note: The llamas will carry up to 20 lbs. of gear per person)

• Warm lightweight sleeping bag
• Sleeping pad
• Small towel and toiletries
• Small flashlight
• Sunscreen
• Sunglasses
• Water bottle
• Daypack (for water bottle, rain gear, camera, binoculars, sunscreen,
or anything else you might wish to have access to while we are hiking).

 

Clothing:


• Hiking shorts
• Short sleeved shirt
• Long pants (fleece is warmer than cotton in cool conditions)
• Long-sleeved shirt
• Comfortable hiking boots
• Camp shoes
• Lots of socks (some wool)
• Wool sweater
• Sun hat
• Wool cap
• Gloves (polypropylene)
• Rain jacket or pants
• Warm vest and jacket
• Polypropylene long underwear
• Swimming suit

 

Please pack your clothes and sleeping bag in nylon stuff sacks (sleeping bag size or smaller) that have been lined with plastic bags. White or clear plastic makes it easy to see the contents.
