IMNAHA FALLS

This trip begins at Indian Crossing (elev. 4600 feet) on the Imnaha River. We hike 6.5 miles upriver through woods and meadows to our camp at 5400 feet elevation. Along the way we see signs of the 1994 Twin Lakes fire and the resultant burst of new growth. On the second day we can explore Imnaha Falls or the north fork of the river or just relax in the serenity of a climax tamarack forest. The third day we hike back to Indian Crossing trailhead.
